This is a great question!  The answer depends on what kind of cake you need to order:

For custom celebration cakes, including birthday cakes, we recommend contacting us at least two weeks before your event.  However, if your event falls during wedding season (Mid-May through the end of October), we are often booked out 3 to 4 weeks or more, so the earlier you can confirm your order with us the better.

For wedding cakes, we recommend contacting us 6 to 9 months in advance for weddings that will be taking place from May through October, or at least 4 to 6 months in advance for weddings that take place November through April.  Once you have made initial contact with us, we can guide you through the rest of the process based on your event date.

While we are not able to take same-day custom orders, you are always welcome to call or stop by our shop and see what we have in our bakery cases. We offer different items every day, but you can typically expect to find a great selection of cupcakes, cookies, pastries, and desserts, and occasionally we also have small pre-decorated cakes ready to go as well!

If you need a cake with less than 1 week notice, you can order a cake through the online shop on our website, where you can find pre-designed cakes, cupcakes, and desserts with limited customization. Click here to visit our online shop.

For weddings and custom cakes, the best way to start an order is to fill out a contact form. This will ensure that we get all the info we need from you in order to confirm availability and/or provide an accurate quote.

Custom cakes are quoted individually, and pricing depends on the overall style of the cake and how many servings are required. In general, you can expect pricing of basic buttercream cakes with no decoration to START at approximately $5/serving, and for the price to go up based on the time and ingredients required to achieve your desired cake design.

We would LOVE for you to taste our cakes! If you are interested in tasting a variety of our cake flavors, we offer tasting boxes through the online shop on our website. Our tasting boxes contain sample slices of our most popular cake flavors, with the option to purchase additional flavors if there’s something specific you’re looking for.

We are not an allergen-free facility.  Almost everything we create contains gluten, dairy, and/or eggs. We clean equipment and surfaces between projects, but the same equipment and facility is utilized.  We do not recommend consumption of our products for anyone who is allergic or intolerant to gluten, nuts, dairy, or eggs.

Some of our items can be made gluten-free by request.  If you need dairy-free or vegan cake or desserts, we would be happy to recommend local bakeries that specialize in allergy-friendly baked goods!

We offer delivery services for orders that exceed $500 and contain a multi-tier cake. Delivery within the I-275 loop starts at $100. Delivery fees for locations beyond I-275 are based on mileage.
Deliveries that need to take place on days our shop is closed (including Sundays), and deliveries that must occur during scheduled room flips or within a short time frame will incur additional fees.
All orders that do not qualify for delivery must be picked up from our shop during our business hours.

If you need a cake or desserts for a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, you will need to pick up your order on Saturday during our open business hours. We will let you know if your order needs refrigeration or any additional care information.

Yes! Once you’ve placed your Save the Date deposit, we will schedule a design appointment with you that will take place approximately 2 to 4 months before your wedding. At this appointment, we will identify and finalize your cake design. It is so important that you are prepared for this appointment by having an estimated guest count, ceremony and reception timelines, color palette, and inspiration images. The more information you are able to provide, the easier it will be for us to work together to create an amazing cake design.

At this appointment, we will also confirm the quantity of servings and cake size, go over “day-of” and delivery details and contacts, and provide you with a final invoice.

Unfortunately, no. We have a very small staff, and we have to prioritize our time for creating the wedding and custom cakes that are confirmed on our calendar. We do a limited number of donations per year and plan for those donations at the beginning of each calendar year. To submit a request for a donation, submit your request on your organization letterhead by February 1st to Tres Belle Cakes, 8921 Reading Road, Cincinnati Ohio, 45215, or email your request to tresbellecakes@gmail.com.

All requests must include:
* your organization mission statement
* non-profit information (ei 501(c)(3), website, founding year)
* date the donation is needed as well as how the donation will be used. (Raffle, silent auction, etc.)

All requests will be reviewed and if your request is chosen, you will be contacted.

Custom cake orders are not confirmed until we receive your non-refundable deposit of 50%. If we do not receive this payment within 7 calendar days from when we provided the quote, the quote expires and your date may become unavailable.
